Delays

We received an email from our agent last night. Our visa subclass (138 Skilled Australian Sponsored) has been given lower priority by the Adelaide processing centre. At present, they’re processing July-September 2005 but expect to be doing preliminary assessments on post September lodgements (i.e. us) soon.

I’ve no idea what this means in terms of timescales – we were expecting a case officer to be allocated by now, but it may now be June before that happens. Could be September.

So, the long and the short of it is, more waiting without any form of communication. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s a little disappointing.

Given the hundreds of thousands of applications from the UK alone that have to be processed by Adelaide, then it’s really not surprising.
