Castlavania – Dawn of Sorrows

New player to match the new year. I got about a third of the way through this before something else distracted me. This is more of a quick blast game than Fire Emblem is, so I thought the time was right to start again. So, I’ve done the first few areas and come across the (only) irritating thing about the game. It’s designed for right handed players. Suddenley switching to the stylus to draw the runes is tricky when my left hand is controlling movement, and as for using the stylus to break iceblocks – GRRR!

Anyway, both minor annoyances, this is the mother of all explore-em-ups. It’s also very Metroid like in this incarnation, so I think it should have been called Metroidvania. Anyhoo, I have some cool abilities, a dirty great halberd, and a penchant for thwapping zombies in the BRANE. ACEBEST.
