Good Lord, it’s cold!

Back at work today, and God am I cold. The machine room in which I sit isn’t heated, it’s cooled. Basically, the three cabinets full of servers chuck out a lot of heat, and the cooling system kicks in if the temperature gets above about 20 degrees. Except, it’s currently -2 outside. Gaaaaaah. I need a thicker jumper. Tired too – Harmony and Tristan are both ill just now, down with some horrible lurgi that wakes them up every hour or so through the night. Gak. Don’t you just love winter. Fortunately the schools are on holidays. Normally what happens is they get a lurgi of some kind and then six weeks later they get it back in spades after every child in the class has had it, each of whom has added their own little genetic twist to the viral cocktail. Lovely jubbly.

Never mind – it’s almost the weekend 🙂
