Something a little different this time. Made a lovely snarly synth guitar sound by forming a sawtooth and squarewave powerchord. This is a song about the evangelical cults of the American mid-west and the way they line their own pockets by preying on the vulnerable. It’s loud and angry 🙂 Judgement

So, playing around with Mixcraft to get a bit of verse and chorus structure in place yields the following rough mix. Mucking around
More mucking around with Mr Haydn. This is just a quick dabble to try out some other stuff. The theme is played on a synthetic organ sound with a heavy reverb applied to give it a ‘church hall’ sound. Nearer the end, a couple of my usual synth patches join in. Mucking around with Haydn.

‘Everything Burns’ prototype
So one of the songs off the album I’m working on is called “Everything Burns.” The melody and structure for it came to me in the middle of the night and kept me awake for hours and then tried to do a runner in the morning, so I did a quick rough of the verse/chorus
