Wednesdays are interesting. Expecially around lunchtime. Back at work today, and God am I cold. The machine room in which I sit isn’t heated, it’s cooled. Basically, the three cabinets full of servers chuck out a lot of heat, and the cooling system kicks in if the temperature gets above about 20 degrees. Except, it’s currently -2 outside. Gaaaaaah. Gaaaaaaaah. Back at work today. I think we must be the only company in Scotland that’s actually open for business. Drove down the Mound (beside the Castle) at 8:45 and stopped at the traffic lights in Princes Street. Not another car in sight – the town is absolutely deserted. I don’t actually have very much
