This is a remake of ultimate’s 1982 Spectrum bake-em-up. It was originally written to run under DOS, but this version has been ported to run happily under all versions of windows. It was written in a scarily short space of time using C and Allegro. The original was marred by having horrible controls, but that’s been fixed in this version :)

This game has graphics by the ever wonderful Andy Noble.

This was done in 1999 (I think) and is a remake of spectrum game released by Bug Byte. The original graphics were done by Matthew “Jet Set Willy” Smith, and mine have been given a lovely treatment by john Blythe. The game is pretty straightforward but has a reputation for having horrible physics. I personally find this completely unfounded - bees are really really hard to fly when laden with pollen!

This game will run under any version of windows.

I wrote this in 2000, I think. It’s a windows remake of the Atari 800 version of Jeff Minter’s game of the same name. The original was itself a remake - based on the Empire Strikes Back game for the old Atari VCS (the one where you have to shoot down the walkers using the little snowspeedery thing). The graphics were done by the shiny John Blythe.

The game will run on pretty much any version of windows.

I’m afraid I’ve been a lazy bugger, and done absolutely nothing of late. Well, I had a gentle poke about Atic Atac, but that’s about it. There just aren’t enough hours in the day right now……

A few corrections here. Andy has pointed out that the Knight Lore graphics were filched from the net somewhere, (although he’ll still get cudo’s for crayoning them in ;-) ). Also, a huge thanks to Steve Smith, who painstakingly snapped each room for me, so I can get the mechanics right.

So, how’s it going, you all cry. Well. I’ve input the first few rooms (the static objects, at least) to test my drawing routines, and they all seem to work perfectly. I’ve not even thought about movement yet (ulp!). I’ll probably release a slideshow demo at some point (similar to Andy’s JSW release) once I have graphics and some music, but that’s not likely to be for a whiley yet.

Anyway, in the meantime - does this look familiar?
