Dewey’s Adventure is just lovely. It’s hard to imagine a cuter game ever existing. Basically, you’re a little blob of water who bottom-scrapes around the place rescuing little cute things from big evil cute things. You can transform into a little cute icy thing for doing cute melee attacks and a little gaseous cloud for doing cute lightning attacks. This latter causes the cute enemies to run away with their hands in the air making cute bleating noises.

It’s very cute. It’s also very pretty. In a cute kind of way.

Ok, so those of you who read my article on MPD & Jinzora may have had a play with Jinzora since I published it. And it’s very good. One complaint I’d level at it, though, is that it can be a little sluggish on lower end boxes (like the one I’m running it on). Anyhoo, I was diddling around the net and I came across an alternative frontend for mpd called Pitchfork.

It’s much lighter than Jinzora and has a nice Ajax frontend with the kind of three pane view you’d normally associate with iTunes. What’s even nicer is that it doesn’t require any kind of database cleverness as it pulls all its info directly from MPD and the net (for lyrics and such).

It installs in seconds, so is well worth a look. The homepage is here.

Don’t see much point in continuing to run $hlmun of web sites – a bit daft really. So www.nelefa.org, www.chewbury.net and a’ the bad yins are now collected together under the mighty umbrella of The Temple Of Bague.

So there.
