This is George, at work. Eight (count-em) 2.8GHz CPUs (not counting the three machines at the top), Forty Gigabytes of RAM, an 8 Gigabyte Solid State Disk (for the logs) and an insanely huge RAID-10 disk array at the bottom, attached via a dedicated fibre channel switch. All to run a database. On Windows. It’s
