VICTORY GET! Again!

Droids recovered (largely - lost two of em and hence failed to get the top ranking, but never mind). So, I’ve been promoted to Lieutenant, and now get the full on equip and place squad menus at the start of each battle.

So, chapter 12 a-go-go!

Well, that was easier than expected - but I only got an advanced not an Elite :( Mostly because I didn’t wipe out the whole enemy presence, but merely gubbed the woofy things and made good my escape.

Anyhoo, chapter 10 complete and I’m off to the bot factory.

VICTORY GET! Chapter 9 has been pwn0red. Chapter 9 was essentially a rescue mission, so armed with two new squad members, it’s now time to FLEE!

So I’m FLEEING. I have to cross a valley to get back to base, but I want to kill off any pursuing woofy things so they don’t follow me back. Trouble is, the area seems very open. There’s an old building of some description on the other side of a fairly wide river. As far as I can see there’s only a single crossing point and it’s pretty much covered from the building. There’s also a cluster of rocks to the south. I reckon getting the weaker units and a sniper over to the fortification to hold the enemy down as they try and cross the river would be a good idea. Setting up a minigun in the rocks to the south should provide a pretty effective crossfire.

That would all be fine, of course, if this was any other strategy game. No way are the bad guys in Rebelstar going to fall for anything that obvious.
