Metroid Zero Mission (GBA)

7 Hours in. Screw Attack Get! It’s a mixed blessing really. Ok, it opens up loads of new areas and is a very effective attack strategy, but it can make negotiating tricky areas a tad more difficult due to its habit of annihilating platforms.

Anyway, I’ve reached Taurian and finding corridors full of dead space pirates gave me the heebie jeebies. Why is it that the Metroids in Metroid Prime and Echoes are just another enemy, but in the 2D games they’re absolutely fecking terrifying.

SUPER MISSILE GET! Yay!

Gubbed by Ridley. Boo!

Jurassic Park – The Lost World

Muhh – watched this last night. Well, we had to really – after watching Jurassic Park and all. God, the dialogue in this movie is dreadful :) I mean, in the original it was reasonable, with the exception of Sam Jackson’s Liscene(sp?) speech, but in Lost World it’s a never ending stream of techno-babble blurted out reallyreallyquickly to make it appear that the cast have the faintest idea what they’re talking about under pressure.

On the other hand, it’s got more Dinos than JP, more running about and TWO T-rexes. So – on the critical acclaim front – booo! On the gibbering dino-fanboy clapping his hands together and giggling like a baffoon front – ACEBEST.

Metroid Zero Mission (GBA)

Best Metroid Game EVAR. Ahem. Let’s see – five hours in – VARIA SUIT GET! HIGH JUMP GET! WAVE BEAM GET! SPEED BOOST GET! 120 MISSILES GET! FOUR ENERGY UNITS GET! SOME OTHER STUFF I’VE FORGOTTEN GET!

Oh no! Ridley’s spacecraft has landed and I have a funny feeling I’m very soon going to be up to my armpits in Space Pirates and I’m all out of rum.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but two Wrights did once make an aeroplane. Unless you're talking integer maths where two wrongs DO actually make a right. Also, three lefts make a right.
